Screenwriter / Ghostwriter
Law Office of Abdul Arif, PakistanVerifiable creative writing skills, with several references and samples.
I am a US based Attorney, originally from India, writing a story/narrative of a life of a close friend Muhammad Nadeem Khan who is originally from Multan/Karachi in Pakistan.
He came to the US at a young age in the early 1980s and returned to Multan in 2007 with a wife and a 7-year-old daughter after a very successful career in business. His motivation to return to his roots was based on a desire to reclaim his father's legacy in Multan, where he was to inherit enormous swaths of land worth millions of dollars, which was in danger of being stolen away from his own relatives.
The story that I will write is based largely on real people and events. This is something I hope, along with my friend's help, will be able to convert into a Pakistani drama to be distributed through YouTube or other distribution channels.
What I am looking for:
A screenwriter in Urdu, who can translate my writing in English and convert it into Urdu dialogue, which will then be used to audition actors and actresses in Lahore and eventually turn into a movie/drama serial.
I will pay:
$500 US dollars every month for a 3-month engagement. I am thinking this will take about 100-150 hours of work.
What will you have to do to get selected:
Do one or two Zoom interviews with me and Nadeem.
Share with me some of your writing work that you have done for others.
