Production Planning Engineer - Textile / Shoes
Job details
Production Planning:Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align production plans with business objectives.
Inventory Management:Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for production.
Process Optimization:Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Collect and analyze production data to track performance metrics and identify trends.
Prepare regular reports on production status, inventory levels, and capacity utilization for management review.
Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production operations.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address any production-related issues.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
