Overview A well-known Consumer finance Business is looking for a Risk Analyst who is experienced in Modelling & Analytics to join their team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will need to ensure through the use of cutting-edge statistical analysis that the intellectual property of the company's credit portfolio is continuously fostered and distributed. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of risk analysts to apply best practices in statistical analysis and credit risk management. Complete the analysis to identify how changing the approach will affect the application areas and account management tactics. Predictive model development and monitoring for the improvement of risk decision-making Create experimental frameworks to address important business questions. Using statistical methods, forecast and track market trends Assist with applying strategy adjustments to active decision-making systems. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of statistical & Mathematical models Interpretation of analysis Ability to communicate insights with senior stakeholders. Compilation of reports Strong attention to detail Monitoring output data quality Must be able to manage deadlines Minimum Requirements: A bachelors degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or Finance (CA(SA), CIMA, CFA) Minimum 5 years relevant experience in: Credit Risk Analysis Unsecured Lending products Preparing data-driven credit policy recommendations for senior management Exposure to Bureau data and Developing customer insights.
