Overview Hire Resolve are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Manager to join our clients team in Cape Town. The Document Manager will be responsible for maintaining and managing all company documents, ensuring proper version control, distribution, and retention. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be proficient in document management software, and have a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities: Organize and maintain all company documents in an efficient and accessible manner Ensure that all documents are properly labeled, categorized, and stored securely Control the distribution of documents to internal and external parties as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date document logs and databases Implement and enforce document management policies and procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of document management processes Train and support staff on document management best practices Assist in the creation and management of document templates and forms Perform regular audits and quality checks on documents to ensure compliance with company standards Coordinate document review and approval processes Provide support to project teams by managing document flow and ensuring deadlines are met Requirements: Grade 12 or similar qualification. Minimum 3 years in office administration. Prior experience in document control will be advantageous. Be familiar with engineering documents such as P&IDs, ISO, Mechanical Drawings etc Strong knowledge of MS Office Knowledge in sharepoint and smartsheet will be an advantage. Excellent organizational and time management skill. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Knowledge of document control best practices and standards Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members Valid drivers license (code E/EB) with own transport Benefits: Salary: negotiable
