With over 30,000+ associates across the globe, and strategic strides made in capability building, our client brings a formidable reputation for success.Job Title: Vice President/Senior Vice President of Mergers & AcquisitionsJob Type: Full TimeFunction/Department: Merger & Acquisitions Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Role Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President/Senior Vice President (VP/SVP) of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to lead and manage the strategic growth of our company through acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. This leadership role will involve identifying, evaluating, and executing complex M&A transactions, as well as managing integration efforts to ensure the successful realization of business objectives.Roles & Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:Lead the M&A strategy in alignment with corporate goals and objectives, collaborating closely with senior leadership and the board of directors.Drive inorganic growth initiatives, identifying high-potential targets and business opportunities.Provide strategic counsel on the evaluation, structuring, and negotiation of M&A transactions.Transaction Execution:Oversee all stages of the M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and deal structuring.Lead the due diligence process, including financial, operational, and cultural assessments, to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Manage negotiations with target companies, advisors, and other key stakeholders to drive favourable terms and outcomes.Integration and Post-Deal Management:Oversee the integration process, ensuring the smooth transition of operations, cultures, and systems across merged or acquired entities.Develop and manage integration plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy, and achieving synergy targets.Continuously monitor post-deal performance, resolving issues, and ensuring value creation.Change Management:Design and implement change management strategies to support the integration process.Lead the organizational transformation post-M&A, ensuring the alignment of corporate cultures, systems, and structures.Develop communication plans to guide employees through the transition, addressing concerns, and fostering a unified organizational culture.Identify and manage resistance to change, creating strategies to mitigate disruptions and build acceptance among employees.Provide coaching and support to senior leaders and managers to enable them to lead change within their teams.Understanding of P&L:Oversee the financial performance of acquisitions and mergers, ensuring that each deal aligns with financial goals and contributes positively to the company's P&L.Monitor and report on post-merger financial performance, ensuring that synergies and growth targets are realized.Manage budgeting and financial forecasting for M&A activities, ensuring alignment with overall corporate financial targets.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with investment bankers, private equity firms, legal advisors, and other external partners.Partner with key internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) to ensure the effective execution of M&A activities.Market Intelligence & Reporting:Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks.Provide regular updates and presentations to the executive team and board of directors on M&A activities, key metrics, and results.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.Experience:15+ years of M&A experience, including significant leadership experience in managing M&A transactions and integrations at a senior level.Proven track record of successful M&A transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures) in a corporate environment.Strong background in financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring, and negotiation.Skills and Abilities:Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.Deep understanding of corporate finance, M&A strategies, and financial reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex transactions and resolve issues quickly.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and boards of directors.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Why Join Us: This is a high-impact role within a growing organization, offering the opportunity to shape the future of our company through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
