Title: Lead - New Product DevelopmentRole Overview:The Lead - New Product Development at AGEasy by Antara will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process of launching new products across various healthcare categories such as Fall Management, Arthritis Management, and Respiratory Management. This role requires a dynamic and innovative leader with experience in managing fast-paced product launches in a D2C environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing 4-5 new product launches monthly, with strong expertise in team handling, stakeholder management, and end-to-end product management.Key Responsibilities: Experience in D2C companies with D2C Healthcare, medical device, rehibition products (after surgery support like wheelchairs), Smart watch, Nutraceutical, Health and Wellness Solutions who have worked on New Product Development.1. Product Strategy and Planning:o Develop and implement strategies for the launch of new products across different categories such as Fall Management, Arthritis Management, and Respiratory Management.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives and market needs.2. Product Development and Launch:o Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of 4-5 new products each month.o Coordinate with R&D, design, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with quality standards and timelines.o Oversee the prototyping, testing, and refinement of new products to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.3. Team Management:o Manage and mentor a team of product managers and other relevant professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.o Provide guidance on best practices in product development, project management, and market analysis.4. Stakeholder Management:o Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and senior management, to drive product initiatives forward.o Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the product development process.5. Escalation Management:o Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the product development process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.o Implement risk management strategies to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.6. Market Analysis and Research:o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the healthcare and wellness space.o Use insights to inform product development strategies and ensure the product portfolio remains competitive.7. Budget Management:o Develop and manage budgets for product development projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.o Monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product launch success.8. Performance Tracking:o Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product launches and identify areas for improvement.o Provide regular updates to senior management on product development progress and performance.Qualifications and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field. An MBA from Premium b institute is preferred. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in product development, with at least 2-3 years in a team management role within a D2C company. Experience in healthcare product development is highly desirable. Skills:o Proven track record of managing multiple product launches in a fast-paced environment.o Strong team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.o Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.o Ability to manage escalations and resolve complex issues effectively.o Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.o Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
