About the Role:We are looking for a young, skilled and dynamic Civil and Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team for ground-mounted solar power projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the analysis, design and optimization of solar module mounting structures (MMS), solar trackers, and foundation systems. A solid understanding of structural analysis tools like STAAD Pro and expertise in Indian codes and standards is essential. Exposure to international codes and standards will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Analyze, Design, develop and optimize ground-mounted solar module mounting structures (fixed and tracking systems).Perform structural analysis and design for module mounting structures, solar trackers, and foundation systems using STAAD Pro.Calculate loads (wind, seismic, dead, and live loads) and structural stresses to ensure optimized and robust designs.Fit for purpose design and implementation of structural components of Fully automatic robotic cleaning system-Docking station structure, bridging system, return station, to solar plants.Prepare design drawings, construction details, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes.Conduct site visits to help site specific solutions in implementation of ground mount solar structures and robotic cleaning system in the solar plant.Review and interpret geotechnical reports to arrive at optimal foundation design.Ensure compliance with relevant Indian and international standards (e.g., IS 802, IS800,IS875, IS 456, ASCE,AISC,AISI and other applicable codes).Prepare and review technical documentation including design calculations, BOQs, and design reports.Perform design validation, quality checks, and provide guidance for structural safety and stability.Assist in troubleshooting any structural issues during construction and provide on-site support if necessary.Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.Minimum 6 and maximum 10 years of experience in the design and engineering of ground-mounted solar plants.Strong expertise in designing and analyzing module mounting structures, solar trackers, Robotic cleaning system and foundation systems.Proficient in using STAAD Pro for structural analysis and design. Exposure to L-Pile software will be an added advantage.Knowledge of Indian (Mandatory) and international (added advantage) codes and standards (IS 800,IS802,IS875, IS 456, ASCE, AISI,AISC etc.).Experience with load calculations including wind and seismic loads as per relevant codes.Familiarity with solar industry best practices and construction techniques for ground-mounted solar installations.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with solar-specific design software/tools.Previous exposure to Indian solar projects.Understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering.Certification in relevant engineering standards or software (e.g., STAAD Pro certification).
