Job Summary:The incumbent will spearhead NIIT's strategic growth within the China region, focusing on expanding the company's portfolio through the acquisition of new business accounts and partnerships with universities, colleges, and corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the Chinese education and corporate training markets, along with proven business development skills, leadership acumen, and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on acquiring new clients and expanding NIIT's presence in China's education and corporate training sectors.University and College Partnerships: Establish and nurture partnerships with Chinese higher education institutions through innovative academic collaborations and strategic alliances.Corporate Partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with Chinese corporations to introduce NIIT's training solutions and corporate learning programs, ensuring long-term business growth.Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities within China, focusing on educational institutions and corporate entities to drive NIIT's growth in the region.Account Management: Maintain and grow key accounts in China by building sustainable relationships with long-term value for both clients and NIIT.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business development and client management strategies in China.Essential Criteria:Experience: Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within China, ideally within the education or corporate training sectors.Proven Business Development Skills: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business accounts and expanding existing partnerships in the Chinese education or corporate training markets.Account and Relationship Management: Strong track record of building and maintaining key accounts, with a focus on long-term relationships with universities, colleges, and corporate clients.Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Expertise in negotiation, relationship-building, and resolving business challenges in the Chinese context.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and ability to speak and understand Chinese is an added advantage.Desirable Criteria:Educational Background: Master's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.Experience in Global Organizations: Prior experience working in multinational organizations, especially with a focus on the China region.Cultural Insight: Strong understanding of Chinese business practices and the education landscape, with an existing network of relationships in the region.
