JOBINFORMATION Job Title:Pulmonology Consultant Department :Pulmonology JOBSUMMARY Lead the pulmonarymedicine team as a consultant providing specialized respiratorycare you will be responsible for providing expert medical care topatients with pulmonary disorders including but not limited toasthma chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) pulmonaryfibrosis lung cancer and respiratory infections. coordinating withother medical professionals to enhance respiratory services anddriving the development of advanced pulmonary care at ourprestigious hospital . MAIN DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides highquality pulmonary care to patientsin this area of medicine. Provide consultativeservice as requested. Supervise fellowsstaff/assistant physicians and residents.Actively participates in the training andteaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise andParticipates in research activities.Participates in committees and otheradministrative functions as needed. Performsspecial procedures as privileged. Follows allhospitalrelated policies and procedures.Performs other related duties asassigned. REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of goodstanding.Completion of required period oftraining in specialty and/or SubspecialtySaudiArab or American /European Board Certification orequivalent.Membership and/or Fellowship statusin America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling thecriteria for the consultant as requiredAcertificate recognized by the Saudi commission is amust.Dataflow is a must.ProfessionalExperience Min. 34years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty.Aregistered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiencyin Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting tothe candidates skills and ethicalconduct.Remote Work : No
