Senior BIM Architect (Entertainment) - DubaiSignature Network is recruiting for one of its clients a fully-fledged Senior BIM Architect.Note: This is an on-site job; therefore, remote work will not be accepted.Salary: 12,000AED - 18,000AED (depending on skill set and will be reviewed after a 6-month probation period)2 days of paid leave accumulated per month (based on 6 days working week)Health InsuranceLabour card and visa costs provided by the companyAnnual flight allowance to home countryWe are looking for a Senior BIM Architect to join our client in the UAE. Our client is a medium-sized theming, turnkey, design-build company with around 20 Design staff and is looking to strengthen our team due to an influx of incoming projects in the region. You will be responsible for managing and presenting the design of various projects. You will work closely with the Head of Design, along with the entire Design Team on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production. Your responsibility will include managing and producing all project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules, as well as preparing and presenting design deliverables to all stakeholders.Job Description:Provide motivation and leadership to the current design teamEstablish best practices for the design teamCoordinate all design matters relating to a project while managing assigned architectsTake the lead on the optimization of the design quality control systemWork with the LEAD / BIM Manager to agree and ensure design schedules are maintainedWork with other members of management to streamline the design processRepresent the company during client meetings and presentationsResponsible for project direction in support of client expectationsFinal check/sign off of drawings before client submissionRequirements:Bachelors/Masters Degree in Architecture/Project Management with more than 5 years post-qualification experience and at least 2-3 most recent years in large projects (commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, leisure & entertainment)Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to lead design projects from concept to completion and manage team members to achieve tight deadlinesSkilful ability to supervise and develop employeesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a multi-cultural teamExcellent communication, efficiency, time management, and multi-tasking skillsProficient knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and sufficient knowledge in InDesign, SketchUp, 3DMax, COBie, & Omni classAbility to model from SD to IFC with respective LODsVerify that drawings are accurate, legible, and follow applicable drafting codesWork independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExecute BEP, MIDP, RFI's, Clash detections, and LOD'sWorking knowledge of mechanical systems including, but not limited to; HVAC, lighting, fire & safetyUnderstanding of architectural and structural detailsDesign and construction processes and sequenceBuilding and Accessibility codesMaterial specificationsConstruction administration knowledge of RFI's, submittal review, field observationAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingUnderstand the importance of technical accuracy with a high level of attention to detailCharacter:Excellent team player, sound communicator, and adaptableDecisive, clear, and consistent in approach to designing and detailingWillingness to participate in all aspects of workload delivery
