A place to make a difference: In this full time, maximum term role (through to June 2025, with potential for extension) based in Mount Isa, you’ll be a part of our Family and Youth Services team. You’ll report to the Regional Manager, and you will play a key role helping us create lasting change for children and young people. You will make a difference by:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative requirements of our Youth Services
- Travelling to all sites to support the delivery and evaluation of these programs
- Ensure contractual obligations are met via quality management, reporting, data collection and measuring deliverables
- You demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a high performing team to achieve collective goals, program and client outcomes
- You foster a collaborative outcome driven culture implementing strategies to enhance team performance, and you model effective communication to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
- You have demonstrated experience in working with youth at risk of becoming, or who are currently involved with the Youth Justice system; families requiring support to meet the needs of their young people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities
- You have a degree in a human services field and/or significant equivalent experience
- You have experience in rural community work
- Award rate salary (currently $53.84 per hour) plus access to full PBI salary packaging benefits
