The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in various industries, including government, healthcare, finance, and others.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Understand client needs and requirements, and present appropriate solutions.
- Sales Process Management:
- Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the software development and project management teams to ensure a thorough understanding of product offerings and capabilities.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to the management team.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on market needs and customer preferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software sales, preferably in the software development or IT services industry.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling to government or large enterprise clients.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software solutions (e.g., healthcare, finance).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
