Structural Engineering Team Lead

Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Structural Engineering Team Lead to join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will fulfill the role of an Engineer and Team Lead, while being supported to advance in their own professional career. AEI strongly encourages the applications of potential candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, are ambitious, and seeking the next step in their career progression.Primary Responsibilities:Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects.Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members.Conduct site inspections and field reviews.Manage communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships.Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met.At AEI, you will have the opportunity to work with an energetic and collaborative team. In this position, you will:Work alongside one of our regional Team Leads, all of whom are experienced and licensed professionals.Supervise and support various team members including junior engineers, inspectors, and designers.Report to a company Director that acts as a support to yourself and your fellow Team Leads.At AEI, we value interpersonal skills just as much as technical abilities.
