Finance Director-Commercial
Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division is looking for a Finance Director-Commercial to be based in Pakistan.
As a key business partner to the General Manager, lead and execute EPD Pakistan Financial and Business Strategy to drive Business growth and profitability in line with Division expectations. As Finance lead of $150MM business size, provide active support to all Commercial leaders in achievements of Sales, Margins, Cash Flow, NPIs, Pricing, CAPEX and cost/margin improvement targets. The position is accountable for all business and financial goals while ensuring compliance to Financial Controls consistent with Division and Area guidelines. The position is also responsible to lead Demand Planning function, manage supply risks and lead S&OP processes in compliance with Global BEX/Class A guidelines.
What You'll Do
As Finance Lead and member of Executive Team, drive business growth and profitability in line with Division targets and market expectations, ensuring compliance to Division guidelines and Financial policies.
Provide financial leadership as business partner to GM, in affiliate S&OP, NPI forum, METAP region S&OP, Plan/LBEs reviews, Sales reviews and Business Reviews with area and Division team.
Establish, maintain, and control financial planning, analysis & reporting processes to deliver meaningful and comprehensive Plans/Budgets and LBEs, assuring compliance with Division requirements.
Contribute to the development of financial strategies for EPD division that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
Manage Plan, LBE & Update cycle and ensure timely and accurate submission of all schedules. Ensure timely and accurate financial forecasting and reporting (Local, Region, Area etc.)
Lead Division and Corporate strategic initiatives such as Margin & Profitability (M&P) programs, cost saving, cash flow, NPIs, and other value creation initiatives in collaboration with all stakeholders.
Drive Pricing strategy with Regulatory and Market Access to ensure sustainable business profitability.
As member of Affiliate Compliance Committee (ACC), ensure compliance to ACC Charter in collaboration with Business partners.
Manage Corporate and local Audits, ensure timely remediation of gaps if any.
Provide leadership to Demand Management Function to ensure ADS publication based on robust forecasting processes in line with affiliate targets while managing risks and optimizing on opportunities.
Ensure affiliate maintains and continuously improve on S&OP processes to meet Class A & Division BEX standards.
Work in collaboration with Commercial, Operations, CFS, Compliance, HR and Area & Division team.
Develop talent pipeline of Finance and Demand professionals.
Required Qualifications
Education: Master's degree or Professional Qualification like ACA, CIMA.
Years of experience: 12 to 15 years of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Commercial partnering (FP&A), Compliance & Audit, Demand Planning and S&OP process experience in leadership position in a multinational environment or a company of national repute.
Experience in dealing with international accounting issues, including exchange and Entity Financial Planning along with Commercial exposure.
Internal control/auditing experience.
Exposure to and working knowledge of the other functions, such as: information Technology, Commercial supply Chain and Manufacturing/Operations.
Experience in Tax, Treasury, costing accounting.
Experience in managing and leading an organization.
