Based in Nhulunbuy. Support & drive the success of our horticultural & gardening programs as well as our farming projects. What We Offer
- 7 weeks of annual leave + 17.5% leave loading.
- 13.5% super.
- Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900PA with additional Meal and Entertainment options.
- Shared accommodation + utilities covered ALPA.

- Provide professional advice and expertise to existing nursery, farming and horticultural projects across the full suite of ALPA sites.
- Deliver horticulture related training to ALPA staff and program participants as required.
- Consult with community stakeholders around the provision of new, horticulture related projects.
- Project plan and oversee new and existing projects as required.
- Be a champion of the ALPA values and demonstrate a commitment to work health and safety.
- A thorough knowledge of horticulture, gardening, or farming in a remote context.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver training in a remote environment.
- Effective cross-cultural communication skills.
- Highly developed project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
- The capacity to link daily activities to the ALPA values and mission.
