About the Role If you have experience in horticulture, gardening or community services & would you like to live and work in a remote Indigenous Community in the Northern Territory then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for a Horticulturalist to support & drive the success of our horticultural & gardening programs as well as our farming projects. Key Accountabilities

• Provide professional advice and expertise to existing nursery, farming and horticultural projects across the full suite of ALPA sites.
• Deliver horticulture related training to ALPA staff and program participants as required.
• Consult with community stakeholders around the provision of new, horticulture related projects.
• Project plan and oversee new and existing projects as required.
• Be a champion of the ALPA values and demonstrate a commitment to work health and safety.

About You

• A thorough knowledge of horticulture, gardening, or farming in a remote context.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver training in a remote environment.
• Effective cross-cultural communication skills.
• Highly developed project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
• The capacity to link daily activities to the ALPA values and mission.
