We have a diverse organization which requires a variety of roles, positions, knowledge, skills, and abilities. *About the Role* We are seeking exceptional Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our community based Addiction Nursing team. As a vital member of the nursing team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing compassionate nursing care and support to individuals bravely navigating the journey of substance withdrawal and mental health struggles. In our medically supervised and secure environment, you'll be at the forefront of delivering 24-hour nursing care, supported by access to on-site physicians. That's why we're committed to your personal and professional growth, offering competitive compensation packages and ample opportunities for ongoing training and career development. *Position:* Full-Time - 40 hour per week with on call requirements. *Compensation: * RN/RPN wage range *$43.27 - $51.66* per hour with additional on-call compensation for on-call hours plus applicable shift premiums . * Evening shift premium – additional *$3.50* per hour between 1900hr-0700hr * Weekend shift premium – additional *$2.50* per hour between 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) Sunday * Shift premiums compound- additional *$6.00* per hour between 1900hr-0700hr on 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) Sunday *Indirect Compensation:** *Retention Bonus of $3,000 after 1 year return of service requirement and $10,000 after 2nd -year return of service and productive hour requirement\*** *Extended Health and Dental benefits after the 3-month probationary period** *Flexible Lifestyle or Health Spending Account** *Municipal Pension Plan Enrollment/Portability with 9.31% Pension matching after the 3-month probationary period or upon hire, depending on current Pension enrollment status** *3 weeks' vacation which increases with length of service** *1 paid wellness day per year** *Paid Birthday off** *Paid Lunch Period** *Paid sick time which increases with length of service.** *Relocation Assistance and short-term organization provided lodging for those relocating** *Nursing License Fee Reimbursement** *Employer Paid Training (CPR-C/First Aid, NVCI Etc…)** *Professional development & education reimbursement opportunities**Qualifications*_Education and experience_* RN/RPN with current registration with BCCNM * Experience with addictions and mental health would be an asset _Job skills and abilities_* Well developed interpersonal, oral, and written skills. * Proficient knowledge of group process and facilitation techniques. * Good time management skills. * Ability to work effectively with program team, social workers, and other community professionals. _Other Requirements_* Criminal record check in accordance with agency policy * Medical clearances * First aid/CPR certificate (preferred)* Employees must declare their vaccination status for COVID-19 and influenza; if vaccinated, documentation must be provided.
