Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our Project Management team. Our PMT is renowned for delivering top-tier capital projects, and the Safety Advisor will be central to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance across our diverse and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and report on contractor compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
  2. Conduct safety briefings and pre-construction meetings to emphasize construction execution safety standards.
  3. Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify improvement opportunities in safety performance.
  4. Develop and deliver safety training programs.
  5. Offer advice and consultation to ensure a safe working environment, in line with environmental/safety regulations and standards.
  6. Identify, evaluate, and develop controls for workplace hazards.
  7. Conduct site inspections to audit physical conditions and work practices.
  8. Provide guidance on corporate safety regulations and procedures.
  9. Perform safety compliance inspections and prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
  10. Develop safety orientations and training materials, and conduct specialized training sessions.
  11. Assist in new employee safety orientations and participate in safety committee meetings.
  12. Analyze incident data to formulate corrective actions to minimize hazards.
  13. Recommend safety equipment and implement corporate safety and environmental requirements.
