Unwind in the Middle East's only wellness centre in a resort setting, spread across lush botanical gardens.Job DescriptionIndependently manage the Multi Disciplinary engineering and design team for hull and marine facilities.Deliver Marine engineering maintenance within budget, schedule, and quality.Provide leadership to the Marine engineering team and be the single focal point in the Project organization for all issues related to Marine engineering.Establish a robust engineering execution platform for delivery of Detailed Engineering meeting all contractual requirements.Implement effective change management.Supervise all Marine discipline leads to ensure delivery of engineering design that complies with Company standards, Client standards, Class rules, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.Conduct internal Marine engineering team meetings, meetings with Shipyard Engineering team and Third Party, participate in engineering meetings with the Engineering department and other external agencies.Provide clear and unambiguous communication both internally and externally on Marine engineering issues.Motivate the Marine engineering team and Ship Yard team to perform, provide performance feedback, and manage engineering resources on the project.Develop a Marine Engineering manning plan.Ensure effective cost control of Marine engineering expenses and plan and organize the standard boat dry docking as per the Original Equipment Manufacturer schedule.QualificationsMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity and a Certificate in Marine Engineering.Market knowledge of related products.Very good understanding of the English language with strong communication abilities.Ability to manage a team of Technicians, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Carpenter, Painter, and Fiberglass specialists.Capability to organize, plan, and execute planned preventive maintenance schedules on a large fleet of boats.Positive attitude and capability to carry out fault finding.
