Autism Specialist Lead - SEND International - relocation to Doha

SEND International is seeking a skilled and passionate Autism Specialist Lead to join a dynamic Specialist Autistic school in Doha. This is an exciting role for someone with at least 3+ years of experience, QTS, and leadership expertise in working with young people who are Autistic (ASD) so you can make a difference to the lives of young learners.

We are looking for a leader committed to making a tangible impact on the academic, social, and communication development of students who are Autistic. You'll work closely with the existing staff team to implement evidence-based practices, support transitions, and design tailored programs that foster an inclusive environment.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with students who are Autistic (ASD)

Leadership experience within an educational setting

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Expertise in autism interventions such as ABA and data-driven assessments

Strong communication and collaboration skills

What You'll Do:

Lead and mentor staff in delivering best practices for ASD education

Be a passionate advocate to support all those learners who are Autistic, by raising awareness and setting an example of leadership

Develop classroom and behavioral programs tailored to individual needs

Set an example of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, self-motivation and self-discipline

Model competence, honesty, personal responsibility and respect for others

Use formative and summative assessment data to define student learning and determine the need for additional support

Collaborate with staff, parents, and external partners to support student success

Plan, develop and provide training to school staff on the use of appropriate interventions and behaviour management techniques

Coordinate Autism services

Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners

Salary: Dependant on experience
