Job Overview As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our electrical engineering software applications. You will be part of a team of experienced electrical engineers, technical research scientists, and professional software developers where your work will directly impact our software products. Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience programming in a procedural coding language (e.g. C++, Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB).
- Good written and verbal communications.
- Master’s Degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience working as an electrical engineer.
- Good understanding of electrical power systems.
- Develop and maintain software applications to meet our customer's needs.
- Projects adding new features to our existing software or creating new software.
- Contribute to the technical software development programs.
- Apply and implement electrical power engineering principles and calculations.
- Develop and code electrical engineering software algorithms.
- Undertake some research and development projects.
- Support customers with their software questions and technical problems.
- Document the software and electrical engineering calculations.
