The Technology Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading the execution of enterprise technology projects, ensuring their delivery within scope, on time, and in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives. This role involves managing both large-scale and minor projects while maintaining strict regulatory compliance, particularly adhering to the State Bank of Pakistan’s Project Management guidelines. Requirements

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with HugoBank’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate efforts across internal teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance) and external partners/vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Implement and oversee Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, progress tracking, and
  • iterative solution delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with the State Bank of Pakistan’s Project Management guidelines and other regulatory policies, taking complete accountability.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira to ensure transparency and maintain visibility across all stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks, resolve project issues promptly, and mitigate any factors that could cause delays to project success.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics, especially in collaborations with external partners.
  • Facilitate strong cross-functional communication and collaboration to achieve project milestones efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology project management, especially within the banking or fintech sectors.
  • Strong expertise in Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile Practitioner, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or Trello.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in working within regulated environments, with a good understanding of the State Bank of Pakistan’s guidelines as an advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native banking solutions and digital transformation initiatives is beneficial.
