All this while enjoying comprehensive benefits, a workplace focused on mutual support and collective success, and flexible working hours.We are looking for a Principal Functional Safety Engineer:Responsibilities:Lead and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams in implementing functional safety strategy in compliance with ISO 26262 and SOTIF.Define and drive the safety concept, hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety requirements engineering activities for Electric Vehicles and Autonomous Driving technologies.Collaborate with system architects, hardware and software engineers, and verification teams to ensure the implementation of safety mechanisms and features.Perform safety analyses, including FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA to evaluate system safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.Conduct safety audits, assessments, and reviews to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in functional safety standards and technologies, providing guidance on their adoption and implementation.Act as the main point of contact for functional safety topics, both internally and externally, representing the company in customer meetings and industry conferences.Minimum Requirements:Extensive experience working on functional safety preferably within the automotive industry.Practical involvement in the development of safety-critical systems.Proven expertise in conducting safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, DFA, and HARA.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Additional Information:Please note that only successful applicants will be contacted.CS Group Canada values diversity in the workplace and encourages women, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, aboriginal people, and people with disabilities to apply.Advanced medical, dental and vision insurance.Access to a telemedicine service.RRSP program.Personal and sick leave.Recreation room with pool table and table soccer.All your information will be kept confidential in accordance with EEO guidelines.Our company is inclusive and committed to combating all forms of discrimination and promoting a respectful working environment.
