Salary and Benefits: - Minimum salary of AED 3,000 per month, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications. - Comprehensive benefits package including free accommodation, meals, transportation, laundry, and other amenities. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex systems within their area of expertise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  2. Innovate maintenance solutions that accommodate the unique constraints of island operations, such as limited storage and resource availability.
  3. Act as a technical leader, offering support and sharing hands-on expertise with service delivery teams.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure maintenance strategies are aligned with High's operational excellence and service standards.
  5. Apply creative thinking to develop and implement effective solutions for maintenance challenges, especially when conventional resources or parts are not immediately available.
  6. Foster an environment of continuous improvement by introducing best practices and new technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs): Operational Excellence and Reliability:
  1. Ensure reliable operation of all systems within their technical domain, maintaining High's standard for luxury and seamless guest experiences.
  2. Drive the implementation of maintenance strategies that promote longevity and efficiency of the facilities' systems.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Innovation and Adaptability:
  1. Exhibit a strong capacity for innovation, particularly in overcoming logistical challenges related to the remote location of High.
  2. Lead by example in adaptability, demonstrating the ability to deliver solutions in a fast-paced and evolving luxury environment.
  3. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering, with at least 5 of those years in roles that required innovative problem-solving in a remote and luxurious setting.
  4. In-depth knowledge of the relevant technical domain, whether it be BMS, CCTV, Mechanical, Electrical, Fabric, or Decorating systems, particularly as they apply to high-end facilities.
  5. Skilled in troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution in high-pressure environments with a hands-on, innovative approach to facilities engineering challenges.
  6. Extensive experience in luxury, remote, or island resort environments, demonstrating a proven ability to adapt to and manage the complexities of such settings.
  7. A track record of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, service partners, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of engineering services.
  8. Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience in training and team development.
  9. Fluency in English and Russian, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional language abilities would be a plus.
