You will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the technology infrastructure of our clients, within agreed SLA response times and by a combination of office based and occasionally on-site support.The service provided by the Azure cloud engineersupports all aspects of cloud deployments on behalf of clientsworking closely with the Cloud Team and the Chief Cloud Architectcovering a range of hardware and software. Knowledge and experience of a similar Azure cloud engineer role in a comparative environment would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution. This is a full-time position for the right candidate and requires flexibility and occasional out of hours and weekend work ( pending projects). Candidates for Azure Role Standard required Education 3rd Level IT Degree or similar Certifications CompTIA+ - Cloud and/or relevant Azure Certification Experience At least three years Azure, preferably having worked up through the ranks - Help Desk, Support Engineer and then into Server/Azure. Solid Windows OS' skills in both physical and virtual. Comfortable from Win 2016 thru to latest. Worked with variety of Azure Hyper-V buildouts, deep understanding of AD AAD, Clustering and SQL deployments Desirable Has worked in large organisation preferably in MSP scenario. Communications skills Worked in a multi-disciplinary teams with excellent communication skills - written and oral. Can act both as team member or self-directed.English C2-Master (Fluent) spoken and written Important Exposure Active Directory, Adept with Azure Console, Load Balancers, Failover scenarios, Networking - both on prem and Azure Advantage Exposure to Sophos VFW, PowerShell Scripting, AVD Deployment and Maintenance, Cluster Management, Entra Connect, WAF Configuration, ASR and DR solutions, SQL deployment in Cluster Scenario Job Details: Company: EVAD Technology Group Ltd Job Location: Dublin head office and customer sites occasionally toProvide on-site and remote technical support for user Start date: Immediately. Contract type: Full-time Career level: 3 years plus experience Annual leave: 20 days per annum Salary: to be confirmed based on experience Equipment: Phone and laptop provided Normal working hours: shifts between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday (plus Out of Hours and weekend work occasionally pending on project completions ) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support for users. Respond to service requests and issues in a timely manner and within agreed SLA response times. Assist with IT-related queries and offer user training. Support all aspects of cloud deployment of behalf of clients Respond to all queries and tickets raised by the NOC Liaise with and assist the O365 Team as required. Monitor and review alerts inbound from cloud deployments and address issues identified Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities in Autotask. Enter all work as service tickets into Ticketing System Document technical procedures and guidelines where necessary. Provide regular updates on service activities and issues resolved. Communication Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical needs and issues. Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction Work with and support the Compliance Team and respond to Security review requests Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their service requests. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality service. Communicate effectively, clearly and in a timely manner with your colleagues. Escalate service requests that cannot be scheduled within agreed service levels Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Assist Professional Services with the planning and execution of IT projects. Ensure your assigned project task timelines and deliverables are met. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies and procedures including IT security protocols. Follow health and safety guidelines while working on-site. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Do not create an unsafe environment or health and safety risks on a clients site. Continual Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements. Pursue professional development opportunities and certifications. Renew current IT certifications. Recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
