A leading Insurance Intermediary are recruiting for a Compliance Officer for their Dublin office. Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, the Compliance Officer willhave the opportunity to influence the development and implementation of the Risk and Compliance Framework. Key Responsbilities of the Compliance Officer: Contribute to the development and implementation of the Compliance Framework and Compliance Plan Conducting compliance monitoring reviews Provide advice on appropriateness and effectiveness of controls and the application of rules, regulations and the company's compliance policies and procedures Reviewof products, documents and marketing communications for compliance with relevant regulatory requirements Participate on new business initiatives, ensuring that relevant compliance considerations and resulting risks, are duly assessed Assist with the implementation, review and amendment of compliance policies/ procedures Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework Support senior management in identifying, monitoring, managing and reporting risks Provide day to day advice, support and challenge to all functions on risk andcompliance matters Produce reports for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee as require The Compliance Officer will have a proven track record in a Compliance function of a regulated Financial Services firm, preferably Insurance. Compliance qualifications are desireable along with strong comminication and interpersonal skills. Skills: Compliance Risk Regulations
