STEM Recruitment Partners are seeking a Principal Software Verification Engineer to support software verification activities for medical device client based in Dublin. This 12-month contract focuses on ensuring the software meets all requirements within a complex system, including a microcontroller architecture, embedded GUI, and connectivity modules. Based in Dublin, with 3 days of onsite work required per week, rates available are €75-85/hour. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage software verification plans. Execute test campaigns to meet regulatory and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize test solutions. Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance with medical standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485). Lead technical discussions, resolve issues, and mentor team members. Requirements: 10+ years' experience in software/system verification, preferably in medical devices. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C/C++/Java). Knowledge of safety-critical systems, agile development, and microcontroller platforms (iMX, PIC). Experience with test automation tools and techniques (VectorCast, SafeRTOS, QNX). Preferred: Jira/Jama and Master Control experience. Skills: Software verification system verification medical devices
