About us: St Jamess Hospital is Irelands largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublins south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Our academic partner is Trinity College Dublin. Purpose of the role: The Practice Tutor post is based in the Occupational Therapy Department in St. Jamess Hospital with input on a half-time basis into the Discipline of Occupational Therapy, Trinity College Dublin. The post holder will also carry a clinical caseload (equivalent to a 0.5wte) in the Mercers Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA), joining an established team who provide a service to acute admission, inpatient rehabilitation, residential care and ambulatory care.
