Delivery Driver (Self Employed)Many logistics service providers pay an increased rate during peak season. You can check this with the specific provider prior to contracting.We're seeking reliable, hard-working, and motivated Delivery Drivers to join one of our logistics service providers. This is a Delivery Driver role where you'll spend the majority of your day out on the road - so a passion for driving is a plus! Predefined routes and presorted packages are provided. So, once you've conducted your safety checks and loaded up, you can simply head off and drive.What we are offering:â Easy and fast application processâ Safe working conditionsâ Motivated and diverse teamâ 24/7 driver support hotline which helps you when out on the roadâ Pre-sorted packages for your van loadingâ Pre-defined routesâ Daily interactions with your communityâ Up to 5-day work week + weekend's can be included Responsibilities:â Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safelyâ Adhere to all safety regulations on the roadâ Operate an electronic device for GPS route guidanceâ Greet and interact with customers with a professional and positive attitude Requirements:â Must be self employedâ Independent problem solver with good communication skills in Englishâ The ability and willingness to be able to use stairs to deliver packagesâ Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23 kg.)â Full and valid UK or EU Manual Driving License (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes)â Must pass a criminal background checkâ Must pass a drug & alcohol testâ Where vans are provided, they are held overnight at the station therefore you must be able to commute to and from the stationâ Must be at least 18 years old
