- Remuneration : $40.02 to $40.52 per hour + 12.5% superannuation + salary packaging + remote allowances
- Location: Broome Office, with outreach throughout Broome
- Employment Type : Permanent full-time (Monday to Friday, with one evening shift per week). Our compassionate team of staff throughout the metro and regional areas provide quality services and support to more than 10,000 children, youth, adults, and families affected by mental illness every year. The Position The Carer Support Planner provides carer-focused services and consults with carers to identify their goals and ensure an appropriate support plan is prepared, implemented, and evaluated. You will need to have the ability to work one evening shift per week (11:30am to 7:36pm) and be comfortable working autonomously. Responsibilities of the role include (not limited to):
- Contribute to the intake, planning, and support function of carers
- Develop partnerships with local agencies to establish ongoing promotional activity and warm referral processes for carers interacting with those organisations
- Deliver a carer-focused service which consults with carers and involves them in service planning, delivery, and evaluation to assist in continuous improvement
- Establish local carer peer support groups, including training volunteers
- National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months), Proof of Australian Working Rights, Working With Children Check, Current Driver's License, and First Aid Certificate
- Although not an essential requirement, a relevant qualification will be highly regarded, with candidates possibly having an educational background in social work, counselling, community, or healthcare services.
