Job Description
- Receive purchasing requests and order according to priority and business plan.
- Coordinate with concerned departments to clarify delivery date and the quality standards.
- Contact the approved providers and make sure the providers log is updated and includes newly add providers.
- Get the best prices available equivalent to the quality standards.
- Make sure the hospital will have the best delivery conditions.
- Check the provider reference and reputation in the market to grantee the hospital financial safety.
- Make a prices comparison and present to direct manager to be finally approved.
- Inform the concerned departments to make the quality and technical check and evaluate the samples.
- Issue the purchasing orders according to the best offer approved from the manager.
- Follow up with concerned departments and keep them updated about their requests.
- Finish the paperwork according to the standard policies in the supply chain department.
- Report to the purchasing manager the ratio of requests that has been done and the pending and the cost saving progress.
- Assure the documentation regarding all his work-filled properly up to standard .
- The perfection of all used data is his responsibility .
- Liaise with warehouse regarding their credit.
- Evaluate the providers according to ( number of deals , quality of products they provide, delivery dates , number of rejected items , our positions in their buying log ) .
- Adhere the policies and procedures in every task assigned to him.
- Report the pros and cons and work hinders in order to raise the overall performance and the unit he assigned to.
Job Requirements
Minimum required certifications- BSC in pharmaceutical is a must .
- 3 to 5 years in the same field.
- Experience in contract administration .
- PC skills ( Word , Excel ,PowerPoint ).
- Negotiation skills.
- Communication skills.
- Attention to details.
