As we grow, we are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Associate to support our efforts in expanding our reach, strengthening client relationships, and amplifying our brand presence.About the RoleThe Sales and Marketing Lead will play a critical role in supporting the marketing and sales efforts to drive growth. This position will involve pre-sales support, business development, client relationship management, and executing marketing and thought leadership initiatives to ensure consistent brand messaging and engagement. You will work closely with the co-founders to develop and implement strategies that align with client needs and market trends, all while contributing to building a strong brand presence in the social impact sector.ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Business DevelopmentDrive pre-sales processes:Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess market trendsCollaborate with the team to develop tailored proposals for prospective clientsSupport revenue analysis to optimize business development strategiesContribute to creating a strategic sales pipeline and lead generation strategySales strategy development:Work closely with leadership to create targeted sales strategies tailored to client needsAnalyze client needs and market insights to craft solutions that align with 4th Wheel's expertiseSupport efforts to identify new opportunities for service expansion and scale in existing marketsClient engagement & retention:Help develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster retentionSupport account management activities to enhance client experiences and ensure ongoing partnershipsCoordinate with clients to understand their needs and ensure that services meet their expectationsMonitor and analyze client feedback to identify opportunities to improve offeringsMarketing & BrandingContent creation & curation:Develop and curate content for the company's online platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong brand voiceProduce engaging marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and newslettersCollaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing promotional materialsManage events:Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at raising brand awareness and engaging current and potential clientsOrganize and manage events, conferences, and webinars to increase visibility and foster networkingTrack and analyze the performance of campaigns to inform future marketing effortsThought leadership & industry presence:Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content such as blogs, case studies, white papers, etc.Support engagement in speaking opportunities or webinars to elevate 4th Wheel's profile and attract potential clientsCollaborate with leadership to support 4th Wheel's positioning as a thought leader in the M&E consulting spaceOversee online presence:Manage the company's digital footprint, including the website, social media profiles, and online marketing initiativesEnsure the company's website is up-to-date with relevant information, case studies, and success storiesLead initiatives to grow followers and engagement on social media platformsReporting & AnalyticsTrack marketing performance:Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and lead-generation strategiesProvide insights into client trends and market changes to help adapt sales and marketing strategiesTrack key metrics for client acquisition, engagement, and retentionClient feedback and market trends:Regularly gather and analyze client feedback to guide service improvements and identify upselling opportunitiesStay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform marketing strategiesQualificationsExperience: 2-4 years in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably with experience in pre-sales, client management, or partnershipsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldSkills:Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with an eye for detailCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities to anticipate client needs and market trendsProven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholdersEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesSector Experience: Familiarity with the social sector or experience working with non-profits, NGOs, or social enterprises is beneficial but not requiredWhy Join 4th Wheel?At 4th Wheel, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the growth and success of the organization.
