FANUC Canada is currently searching for a Technical Services Manager to provide leadership and management (either directly or through direct reports) for the day to day activities of the FANUC CANADA, Ltd. (FCL) After Market services group. FCL supports the Canadian marketplace in the areas of Robot and CNC service, Technical Support and Spare Parts. The areas of responsibility include smooth operation of the service groups, call center, customer after hours on call support, quoting of technical services including robot reconfiguration, spare part administration and sales support.This role requires leadership and experience that will focus the group on increased customer satisfaction by the coordination and development of new products, processes, and staffing. This role will be a facilitator and leader that listens and supports the needs of our customers and frontline team members to assure success.Requires frequent interface with FANUC America counterparts along with direct customer interfaces to profitability grow the business.Primary responsibilities will include:Initiate and maintain continuous improvement plans for all after market departments and new Customer Service Product developments to assure success with the growth of the organization and required output.Focus on development of continuous improvement for the groups.Establish and lead customer focused initiatives that lead to increased customer satisfaction and increased revenue opportunities.Manage all activities to ensure that corporate objectives are met including financial and sales objectives.Develop and implement strategic and operational programs designed to increase growth, efficiency, and effectiveness of the office.Develop and embrace employee bench strength and training.Develop key relationships with customers and distribution partners/integrators.Interface with the various executing groups in development of customer solutions.Managing Human Resources targets for the department including development of yearly performance evaluations, training and developing staff.Identify and implement business process improvements.Regular reporting of department performance.Work with various departments to provide technical solutions to resolve issues with proactive solutions.Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.Minimum fifteen to twenty years job/work related experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects concurrently.Ability to manage to meet/exceed assigned targets with revenue and profit.Ability to coordinate multiple activities and job assignments simultaneously while adjusting priorities as required.Experience with FANUC robots, controllers and peripheral equipment on multiple control platforms.Ability to analyze personnel requirements and develop plans to train/cross train personnel to achieve department objectives.We offer market competitive pay and benefits programs, as well as opportunities for advancement, knowledge and skill development, and recognition of individual achievements.
