In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with leading and managing major project initiatives aimed at bringing our ambitious vision to life. Your expertise will guide cross-functional teams as we embark on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of creativity and development.

Responsibilities

The Project Director in the Delivery Department for theme park is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of large-scale theme park projects from concept (late stage) to completion. This role requires coordination across multiple departments, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality themed entertainment spaces that meet stakeholder expectations. The Project Director is the primary point of contact for all delivery-related activities, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure the park opens on time and within scope expectation and quality markers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Lead the delivery of theme park construction projects, ensuring they meet all technical, operational, and safety standards.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, aligning deliverables with key milestones.
Oversee multiple construction teams, managing subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other relevant professionals.
Ensure that all project phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Work with procurement teams to optimize resources, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the construction or real estate sectors, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within theme park construction projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from concept to completion.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Outstanding leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in risk management and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
