- Maintenance of inventory master data.
- Accounting of goods in transit.
- Calculation of purchase price variance.
- Execute month end close steps in accordance with month end close checklist (MEC) and SOP's.
- Responsible in the preparation of journal entries, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and execution of internal control in accordance with GSK Internal Control Framework.
- Execute transaction interfaces between ERP systems; extraction of reports from ERP and Bison.
- Raise and post journal entries.
- Inventory reports.
- Manufacturing overhead reports, OPEX.
- Data collection for monthly and quarterly corporate reports.
- Provide support to analyst members within the team thereby ensuring quality is maintained.
- Data collection (KPI) to measure customer service levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other ad-hoc activities like participate in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries
- Obtain high level overview of the month end close activities and reconciliations.
- Obtain high level overview of control in accordance with GSK Internal Control Framework.
- Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure successful SMAS month-end processes for manufacturing sites, including inventory, purchase price variations, and Opex.

- Educational background - Accounting/Finance degree.Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, especially Excel skills.
- Strong written and oral communications skills .
