Technology Manager

Job Description

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Manage and maintain SLAs, ensuring compliance with performance and reliability standards.

• Lead technology projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align operational needs with project timelines and business goals.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of operational initiatives within time and budget constraints.

• Lead, mentor, and support the technology operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with the IT, development, and customer support teams to promptly address operational needs and resolve service issues.
• Ensure smooth communication between teams to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor system performance metrics and develop action plans to address operational inefficiencies.
• Implement best practices for data management, system backups, and disaster recovery to safeguard business continuity.
• Develop and manage KPIs to evaluate team productivity, service quality, and process effectiveness.

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets to ensure optimal use of resources and alignment with company goals.
• Evaluate and implement third-party tools and services to enhance operational capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring value and support for technology solutions aligned with business needs.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain security protocols to safeguard systems and data, implementing necessary updates and patches.
• Prepare for audits and ensure adherence to compliance requirements, maintaining documentation and process transparency.

Job Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or a master’s degree is a plus.
• +8 years of experience in technology operations management, preferably within a digital solutions or tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and digital transformation technologies.
• Proven experience with operational metrics, project management, and team leadership.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL, ISO, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster team collaboration and engage with stakeholders effectively.
