About the opportunity: Lead Software Engineer

You will play a pivotal role by leading delivery, managing our engineering team, and contributing to the codebase. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to have a meaningful influence in shaping both our product and our team.

What a typical week might look like:

• Meet with key team members to provide advice and input on a new feature
• Communicate with customers to understand and solve bugs
• Collaborate with the Lead Data Scientist on R&D roadmap
• Design the architecture for upcoming features
• Lead delivery planning and manage technical implementation plans
• Write code and address customer support issues
• Mentor and coach team members on their growth
• Handle incidents and customer issues with urgency

Our stack includes a React frontend, Dockerized Typescript APIs powering the backend, and data pipelines using Python and Snowflake/Mage, all running on AWS with IaC managed in Terraform.

Core Skills

Required

• Experience in leading engineering delivery
• The ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders
• Excitement about the challenge and fast pace of a startup

Nice to have

• Interest in leveraging new technologies and advances in AI/ML for our product
• Experience in developing dashboards for analytics
• Experience with designing scalable and reliable systems
• Experience with data engineering concepts
