Your new role, what's involved WSP is looking for a seasoned Interface Management Specialist to join our team for a major road infrastructure project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in stakeholder management, securing approvals from authorities, interface management, and project integration. This role is essential for ensuring effective coordination among various stakeholders and achieving seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including international construction consultants, government authorities, and community representatives. Ensure effective communication and address stakeholder concerns promptly.
  2. Approval Acquisition: Navigate and manage the process for obtaining necessary approvals and permits from relevant authorities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate the smooth processing of documentation.
  3. Interface Management: Coordinate and manage interactions between different project teams and stakeholders. Resolve any interface-related issues and ensure all parties are aligned with project objectives and requirements.
  4. Integration Management: Oversee the integration of various project components, ensuring that different elements of the project are effectively combined to meet overall project goals. Manage the alignment of project activities and deliverables.
  5. Communication and Documentation: Develop and implement communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interface-related documents, approvals, and agreements.
  6. Issue Resolution: Identify potential conflicts or issues related to stakeholder interactions and interface management. Develop and implement strategies to resolve these issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on interface management activities, stakeholder interactions, and approval statuses to senior management. Highlight key issues, resolutions, and project progress.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng) are preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in interface management, stakeholder management, and integration within road infrastructure projects. Proven experience working with international construction consultants and navigating regulatory approval processes is essential.
  3. Skills: Strong expertise in stakeholder management and securing approvals from authorities. In-depth knowledge of road infrastructure projects and construction processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage project integration and resolve interface-related issues. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
