PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Site Inspector with specialized expertise in CONCRETE STRUCTURE particularly within Large Scale Residential Hotel construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing and ensuring quality finishes in construction with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to adherence to project specifications and timelines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect all civil finishing works on hotel construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections observations and corrective actions taken during the construction phase.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Compliance: Ensure all finishes work meets safety and quality standards as well as environmental and legal regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and communicate findings to the project management team.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil site inspection with a focus on finishes ideally in hotel construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and finishes specific to hotel projects.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software for documenting findings.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in civil engineering or construction quality assurance (preferred).
- Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to quality control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
