Chartered AccountantNationality: Any NationalityJob Description:Oversee the entire accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies to maintain the integrity of financial statements.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Lead the tax planning and filing process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in line with regulatory requirements.Provide strategic financial advice and insights to support logistics and supply chain operations, enhancing cost efficiency and profitability.Manage cash flow and funding requirements, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to facilitate audits and compliance checks.Implement and monitor internal controls, identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high standards of performance and professional growth.Collaborate with other departments to support business planning, cost management, and financial decision-making.Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, industry standards, and accounting best practices.Desired Candidate Profile:Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior accounting role within the logistics or supply chain industry.Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and supply chain finance.Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and ERP systems.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing accounting team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in a multinational logistics or group company environment.Familiarity with international tax regulations and transfer pricing.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.Knowledge of customs and duties related to supply chain operations.Employment Type: Full TimeCompany Industry:LogisticsTransportationWarehousingCourierDepartment / Functional Area:AccountsTaxationAuditCompany SecretaryKeywords:Accounts ManagementGroup Commercial ManagerBudgeting ForecastingLedger ReconciliationAudit Compliance
