Field Service Technician (Electronics)

Our client, a specialist in road safety products, is looking for a Field Service Technician.

• Installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance of road safety systems such as weather stations and photo radar systems;
• Inspect installations on the road to identify problems;
• Diagnose units or components in the field to define preventive or corrective maintenance needs;
• Replace electronic modules or printed circuits as needed;
• Write technical reports;
• Communicate with customers and the suppliers, and follow up;
• Repair trailers and other equipment using mechanical tools provided;
• Write electronic work slips;
• Manage an inventory of equipment and spare parts.

Requirements:

• DEC or AEC in Electronics/Computers or other related field;
• 2 years of experience as a technician in diagnostics/repair of computer or electronic equipment;
• Able to work at heights;
• Valid driver's license (service vehicle provided);
• Be available to answer and respond to emergency calls, in person or using a remote connection;
• French, functional English.
