The client is a multi-billion dollar asset manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The organisation focuses on investing globally across private equity, private credit, venture capital, and public markets. Description The key responsibilities are as follows: Work closely with the Director to facilitate and drive overall portfolio and portfolio company reviews. Provide strategic input to optimize portfolio performance and align with organizational goals through efficient communication and collaboration among stakeholders. Develop and implement robust performance analytics processes for both portfolio and investment evaluations. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the portfolio. Collaborate with relevant teams to refine investment strategies based on performance analysis. Lead the creation and delivery of comprehensive commentary on LP reports, offering valuable insights into portfolio performance and key strategic decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish key performance indicators aligned with organizational objectives. Regularly assess and report on the performance indicators, making recommendations for improvement as needed. Profile The successful candidate should have the following: 7 - 10 years experience within portfolio review/investment analysis/performance analytics at a similar asset manager or within financial sponsor coverage at an international bank. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Good knowledge of alternative investments. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio optimization. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
