In 2019, KARL LAGERFELD joined as a founding member of the Fashion Pact, a global sustainability initiative seeking to transform the fashion industry through objectives in three areas: climate, biodiversity and ocean protection.Purpose Of The Role:Reporting into the SVP Marketing, this role leads the digital marketing department and manages a team of 8 with 3 direct reports. The role has a dual focus on both Brand driven digital marketing (Digital Content and Organic Social Media) and partners closely with the Director of Ecommerce to dual-manage the Ecommerce Marketing team responsible for Paid Media and CRM.Key Responsibilities:Cross-channel collaboration and marketing strategyCollaborate closely with Brand, Retail Marketing and PR leads to develop the cross-channel marketing calendar and seasonal objectives.Responsible for driving and championing digital across the business primarily in content creation, campaign development and strategy.Leading stakeholders in the development of campaign content tailored for digital marketing.Partner with the Ecommerce Director to ensure our digital flagship KARL.COM and performance marketing represents the brand across all digital touchpoints.Develop the yearly and seasonal digital strategy, set the team's marketing objectives and KPIs that are translated across digital channels.Digital Channel OwnershipOwn and plan the marketing budget for Digital Content, Influencers and Paid Media.Lead organic channel strategy from content planning to posting (via Dash Hudson) and reporting approvals.Oversee the development and approval of the monthly social media calendars against the strategy.Validate and guide the email marketing strategy including seasonal objectives and content planning.Input marketing and brand priorities into CRM strategy developed with our ESP Klaviyo.Develop yearly and seasonal brand paid media objectives and guide the specialist and media agency in implementing the strategy into campaign planning.Oversee and approve all channel level content and copy ensuring strong brand representation and channel suitability.ManagementSupport the team leads and coach them on getting the best out of each team, emphasizing collaboration and shared learning within the team.Skills, Education & Experience:7-10 years of experience within ecommerce and digital marketing, preferably within fashion or luxury retail.Experience working across core digital channels: Social Media, Paid Media and CRM.Experience in content development is a plus.Experience in multiple/global markets.Profile:Forward thinking attitude to spot trends and provide recommendations to stay on top of the ever-changing digital landscape.Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on collaboration.Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and multitask.Commercial mindset with excellent analytical skills.Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude to changing and re-prioritizing at speed.Why #TEAMKARL?
