If you are passionate about making a meaningful contribution to some of the most significant games in the industry, we'd love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesYour Daily Life at Bethesda Game StudiosWork side-by-side with Technical Artists, Animators, and Gameplay ProgrammersOwn the animation pipeline from concept to realizationCreate and implement technology and techniques that provide a leading edge animation experienceQualificationsWhat Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.You possess expert level knowledge of real-time animation systemsYou have extensive experience with one or more real-time animation middleware (e.g., Havok Animation, Granny, HumanIK, Morpheme) or equivalent custom/in-house solutionsYou have experience developing or working with animation blend graphs, real-time IK, animation compression, and/or advanced animation memory management (streaming)You enjoy working daily with animators and technical artists to help craft solutions to complex problemsYou have at least 5 years of game industry software development experienceYou have prior experience acting as an owner of animation systemsPreferred SkillsBonus Skills:You have experience developing for multiple platforms (OSX, Windows, PS4, Xbox One)You have experience with animation systemsYou have generalist experience or prior experience in other core areas of game development, such as AI or gameplay programmingYou have a passion for developing and playing gamesWe embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything we do - from recruiting for our studios, publishing and operations to fostering safe and respectful workplaces that encourage collaboration.
