Job Summary : The Director of Product Marketing at Ohmium will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives to effectively position our electrolyzer products in the market. Responsible for product positioning and messaging to drive success of a product in the market. Will oversee product launches and marketing campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling materials and equip the sales team with necessary tools and knowledge to optimize performance and business growth. Roles and Responsibilities :
- Strategic Marketing Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy to position Ohmium's electrolyzer products effectively. Define target applications and markets, identify key accounts and projects, and craft product positioning and messaging
- Market and Competitive Research : Conduct thorough research to understand customer pain points and needs across different regions and market segments. Analyze competitive dynamics, including product offerings and market positioning.
- Product Market Evolution : Utilize research insights to evaluate and refine Ohmium’s product positioning and marketing tactics, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer requirements.
- Product Launches and Campaigns : Lead the planning and execution of product launches and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and external agencies to create compelling launch materials and ensure successful product introductions.
- Collateral and Content Development : Develop and oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, datasheets, sales presentations, technical specifications, and case studies. Ensure all content is accurate and tailored to customer needs.
- Sales Enablement : Equip the sales team with essential knowledge and tools to effectively market and sell Ohmium’s products. This includes developing training materials, conducting competitive product analyses, and sharing customer insights.
- Performance Metrics : Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track market feedback and the effectiveness of product marketing strategies. Use this data to make informed decisions and continuously improve marketing efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Management or equivalent (required)
- Master’s degree or MBA (preferred)
- 12-15+ years of experience as a Product Manager or a Product Marketing Manager
- Experience working directly with R&D/Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams (required)
- Experience with product development lifecycle (preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions (required)
- Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus.
