- Define the scope of software testing within the context of each software release and support execution.
- Write detailed test plans including strategies, objectives, phases, scenarios, and test environments.
- Implement test cases during the development cycle and formal product validation.
- Conduct sophisticated software testing activities independently within a team.
- Provide end-to-end testing, with a focus on medical equipment validation as an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in embedded software testing in a validated environment.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining functional and regression test suites.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse, global teams and within a global matrix organization.
- Strong knowledge of lab measuring equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, TC simulators, and voltage sources.
- Familiarity with emulators, debuggers, and simulators for microcontrollers.
- Proven ability to address issues, resolve root causes of defects, and improve processes.
- Knowledge of software quality control methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the toll-gate process.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and facilitate problem-solving and quality improvements.
