Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the company’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Accounts Management:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Manage and monitor budgetary allocations and expenditures.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.
- Audit Coordination:
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation and streamline financial operations.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, Proven experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Oracle).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in handling financial records and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
