As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking a Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. Based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia . Job Brief: This position is responsible for the overall Demand Planning performance of the supply chain division for Lactalis KSA. The role demands the focus on forecasting and managing the overall customers' demand at SKU level. It involves the understanding of customers' wants and necessary steps to fulfil the demand. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Forecasting of Finished goods (In house production and outsource production/ Imported items considering the various aspects such as planned promotions, new customer, loss of customer etc.)
- Generate Forecast for Export and Private label customers and get aligned on the forecast with the responsible Sales team.
- Conducting S&OP - Pre-Demand Review with Regional Sales Manager, marketing manager, Key accounts manager and Horeca & B2B Sales Manager.
- Conducting S&OP - Demand Review with the Sales and Marketing team to sign off the final forecast and review their Sales Forecast Accuracy and risk.
- Conducting S&OP Management review meeting with the management team to share the plan and take final decision on the areas wherever required.
- Coordinating with Sales and Marketing department for new product launch.
- Analysing the Sales deviation from Forecast and taking corrective actions to avoid any sales loss.
- Generating Demand planning reports such as Sales Forecast Accuracy, Inventory coverage, Demand vs Supply availability, OTIF to share with the Management and take corrective action if needed.
- Conduct Demand Analysis by Channel and Customer and highlight any deviation from the forecast plan.
- Responsible for RM and PM forecast, Order placement and order management.
- Responsible for timely order placement of imported goods to the supplier.
- Inventory Analysis and control through ABC classification.
- Monitoring the ageing inventory and fast liquidation / rotation of ageing stocks.
- Optimise inventory levels by balancing supply and demand.
- Stock replenishment planning for our Distribution Center sales. Ensure that the company maintains sufficient stock at branches to meet customer demand while minimising excess or obsolete inventory.
- Analyzing risk day to day and communicating from top to bottom with contingency plan to take proactive action.
- Managing Sole Distributor of President brand in KSA.
- Minimum bachelor's degree or Equivalent
- 3-4 Years of hands-on working experience in Demand Planning.
- Food and Beverage/ FMCG industry experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English
- Excellent in MS excel and experience working on ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
