Protocol Engineer

Role: L2/L3 Protocols Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: >3+ Years Key Responsibilities: Development JD for IPI (L2/L3 protocol Engineer) Brief We’re looking for a motivated and talented individual interested in working on advanced Networking concepts. Given the nature of the work, the resource must either be based in Bangalore or, if working remotely, be available to work onsite in Bangalore for the first one or two months to complete end to end KT. Qualification, Experience and Knowledge. • B.E Graduate/Equivalent in ECE, CSE. IT with minimum of 5+ years of experience. • Experience in Testing and debugging Network Protocols: o Layer-2: MLAG/VPC, Spanning Tree, VLAN, IGMP, MLDP, ELPS, ERPS, ELPS, ERPS, CFM, Y1731 Layer-3: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, PIM (v4 and v6), DHCP. o MPLS/MPLS VPN, VPLS, VPWS, EVPN, VXLAN, Segment-Routing. o Telemetry Protocols: SFLOW, gNMI. o Network Operating Systems:  IOS-XE, IOS-XR, NXOS, JUNOS, OcNOS, FRR, SR LINUX.  NETCONF and Yang knowledge would be an added advantage. • Experience in Traffic Generator tools: o IXIA, Spirent Test Center, TREX o Using HLTAPIs of IXIA, Spirent. o Packet Capture tools such as Wireshark, Tcpdump, Scapy. • Experience in Automation Frameworks such as: o ROBOT, Ansible, PyATS/Genie, Selenium • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, DEVNET, JNCIE will be an added advantage. • Experience in Linux Tool Chain: o Bash, sed, awk, grep, iperf o Package Management Tools (APT, YUM, DNF). • Experience in Testing : (In the above Domain) o Functional Test o Performance, Stress, Robust. o Interop Testing( Cisco, Juniper, Huawei. Nokia etc)• Chipset Experience : o Broadcom, Trident, Jericho, Qumran
