UX/UI Designer (6-Month Contract, Remote in India) About the Opportunity: We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in analytics and insights for commodity markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced UX/UI Designer to contribute to the design of an intuitive and engaging digital analytics platform. This is a 6-month remote contract based in India, offering you the chance to shape user experiences that turn complex data into actionable insights. Role Overview: As a UX/UI Designer , you will craft user-centric designs that blend functionality and aesthetics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and Power BI developers, you will create seamless interfaces and impactful data visualizations that align with business objectives. Location: Remote (India) Duration: 6 months Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points, and create personas, journey maps, and wireframes.
- Design visually compelling and intuitive interfaces for web applications, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design system, including UI components and style guides, adhering to accessibility standards.
- Work closely with Power BI developers to transform designs into functional dashboards and collaborate with analysts to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Create impactful data visualizations that simplify complex information.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Stay updated on design trends and best practices to optimize user experiences.
- 5-7 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping; experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that translate user needs into functional designs.
- Experience in data visualization and designing for data-driven applications.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
