Master degree in Electrical engineering or Renewables engineeringTechnical skills:
Ideally 1-3 years of experience in a field related to photovoltaic technologies
Strong background in photovoltaic system implementation and performance monitoring
Familiar with the solar industry, competent with the installation and operation of testing tools
A strong practical mindset is required
Experience in data processing/analysis and modeling is also required
Autonomous, proactive, motivated, dynamic, and effective in a team-oriented environment
Good communicator with a practical mindComputing skills:
Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook
Knowledge of programming languages to facilitate data analysis (Python, Matlab/Simulink, VBA, C+, etc.)Languages:

This network includes partnerships with academic laboratories or start-ups, including the QEERI research center in Qatar.In this context, TotalEnergies wishes to strengthen its local presence with an engineer for a VIE position. The VIE will be under the direct responsibility of the local R&D manager and will work in close collaboration with the team in France.TotalEnergies is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to support the proper execution of the various activities of the solar R&D program, largely related to the installation and operation of photovoltaic systems and qualification studies of various system components (panels, inverters, sensors, cleaning robots, etc.). Most missions will be carried out on the test sites of local partners, in collaboration with their teams of engineers and technicians.As a Solar R&D Engineer, your main tasks for this VIE mission will be as follows:
Installation and Commissioning:Oversee the installation and commissioning of Photovoltaic systems, ensuring all components are correctly set up and operational.
Performance Monitoring:Analyze electrical and meteorological data to monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
Operations and Maintenance:Regularly monitor the level of soiling on panels, correlate data with weather sensors, and ensure the proper functioning of all sensors.
Logistical Support:Assist with logistical tasks related to the implementation of systems within subsidiaries or partner organizations.
Communication:Regularly share findings with project members and maintain clear communication with affiliates and partners.
Compliance:Ensure all installations comply with the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
R&D Support:Support new initiatives in research and development projects in the Middle East.Context & EnvironmentThe selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates.
